WARRANTY COVERAGE

Jamison Glass (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") provides a limited

warranty for glass splashbacks purchased from authorised retailers or

directly from the Company. This warranty covers defects in material and

workmanship for the duration outlined below, subject to the following terms

and conditions.

WARRANTY DURATION

The warranty for your glass splashback is valid for a period of:

• Painted Glass Splashbacks: 12 months from the original date of purchase.

SCOPE OF WARRANTY

The Company warrants that the splashback and its associated components

will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal

household use during the warranty period. The warranty covers the following:

• Paint Delamination or Peeling: The Company will repair or replace any glass

panels where the painted backing has peeled or delaminated due to

manufacturing faults, excluding exposure to excessive heat.

• Colour Fading or Discolouration: The Company will address fading or colour

change resulting from defective materials or processes, excluding UV damage

in direct sunlight or exposure to unsuitable cleaning products.

• Installation Issues: The Company will repair or rectify installation faults,

such as panel loosening or incorrect fixing, provided the product was installed

by Jamison Glass.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover and will be void in the event of:

• Improper Installation: Any defects or damage resulting from incorrect

installation or failure to follow provided guidelines.

• Heat Damage: Damage caused by exposure to heat sources (such as

cooktops) where recommended clearance distances have not been

maintained.

• Impact or Misuse: Cracks, chips, or breakage caused by accidental

damage, dropping items, or other forms of misuse.

• Chemical Damage: Fading, staining, or corrosion due to use of abrasive or

ammonia-based cleaning products.

• Neglect or Lack of Maintenance: Failure to properly care for the product as

per the Company's care and maintenance guidelines.

INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

• Professional Installation Required: The warranty is valid only when the

splashback is installed by a qualified professional, following the installation

instructions provided by the Company.

• Maintenance Requirements: Routine cleaning using a soft cloth and non-

abrasive cleaner is required. Do not use harsh chemicals, scourers, or tools

that could scratch the surface or compromise the paint backing.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To make a warranty claim, the customer must provide the following:

• Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice).

• A detailed description of the defect, with photos where possible.

• Confirmation of professional installation and appropriate maintenance.

To submit a claim, please contact the Company using the details listed below.

Claims will be assessed, and if approved, the Company will offer repair,

replacement, or another suitable remedy.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Company’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or

replacement of the defective product, at the Company’s discretion. The

Company is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages

including labour costs, loss of use, or property damage.

TRANSFERABILITY

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of

the splashback. It does not extend to subsequent property owners or

occupants.

GOVERNING LAW

This warranty is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any legal

matters relating to this warranty must be addressed within the relevant

Queensland jurisdiction.
