Mirror Warranty

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Jamison Glass (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") provides a limited

warranty for glass mirrors purchased from authorised retailers or directly

from the Company. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship

for the duration outlined below, under the following terms and conditions.

WARRANTY DURATION

The warranty for your mirror is valid for a period of:

• Glass Mirrors: 12 months from the original date of purchase.

SCOPE OF WARRANTY

The Company warrants that the mirror and its backing will be free from

defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use during the

• Edge Deterioration (Blackening): The Company will replace or repair mirrors

where the silvering along the edge has deteriorated due to improper sealing

or a manufacturing fault.

• Delamination or Silvering Defects: The Company will repair or replace

mirrors with silver backing separation due to defects in manufacturing.

• Installation Issues: The Company will correct installation problems if the

mirror was installed by Jamison Glass and installed according to the

Company's guidelines.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover and will be void in the event of:

• Moisture Damage: Damage caused by exposure to high humidity or poor

ventilation, particularly in bathrooms or wet areas.

• Improper Cleaning: Corrosion, staining, or blackening due to the use of

harsh cleaners, ammonia, vinegar, or abrasive tools.

• Impact or Mishandling: Scratches, chips, or breakage caused by accidental

damage, knocks, or attempts to move the mirror.

• Unauthorised Installation: Any issues resulting from DIY or third-party

installation that does not follow the Company’s guidelines.

INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

• Professional Installation Required: This warranty is valid only when the

mirror is installed by a qualified professional following the Company’s

installation guidelines.

• Maintenance Requirements: To maintain your mirror, clean using a soft, dry

or lightly damp cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the mirror – apply it to

the cloth first to avoid moisture seepage behind the glass.

• Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice).

• A description of the issue, supported by photos where possible.

defective mirror, at its discretion. It will not be liable for incidental or

consequential damages such as water damage, mirror removal costs, or

labour fees.

TRANSFERABILITY

This warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser. It

does not carry over to new owners of the mirror or the property in which it
